Bec Wallis
With more than 20 years’ experience across marketing, communications, PR and business operations in Australia and New Zealand, I launched Leading Leo in 2024 to give businesses access to experienced marketing expertise without the cost, commitment or overhead of a full-time employee.
My career has spanned local government, the energy sector, major events and consultancy, giving me a broad mix of skills across strategic communications, brand management, digital marketing, graphic design, stakeholder engagement and business operations.
I’m proud to have developed our proven one-day-a-week model that is successfully helping medium to large businesses per week.

Rebecca Ameriks
With a background spanning marketing, customer engagement, business operations and digital marketing across Australia and New Zealand, I have a diverse mix of marketing experience. My career has included Universal Music Group in Sydney, as well as roles across financial services, healthcare, education, manufacturing and community organisations throughout Taranaki.
Contracting for Leading Leo, I specialise in digital marketing and content, creating engaging stories and campaigns that connect with audiences. With my strong organisational skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach, I’m hands-on, adaptable and quick to understand what a business needs.
I joined the team in May 2025 and play an integral role with Round the Block, Bell Block’s Community Magazine, working closely with local businesses on advertising, design and sales.
